Trade Information

Through the Trade Information Service, the global demand and supply is matched with the Dutch-German Euregional demand and supply. This is done through the International Business Information Center (IBIC) of the WTC Twente. The IBIC was launched in April 2009. On a weekly basis international requests are evaluated to matching local industries. In addition, profiles of Business Club members are sent ont to one of the other 300 WTC's in the world. IBIC It is a unique  partnership between the WTC Twente, the Chamber of Commerce East Netherlands and the Enterprise Europe Network (a European project of Syntens Agendcy NL and EVD/Economic Information Department). IBIC It is one of the pillars of the WTC Twente and helps regional companies tot internationalize their operations and aids foreign companies in setting up locations in the Dutch-German border region.

The WTC Twente, the Chamber of Commerce and Syntens search their own databases for possible matches. To maintain a high leval of confidentiality no data exchange between the three databases are provided. The Business Club of the WTC Twente is the first group, which is screened for possible matches. Followed by companies from the files of the Chamber of Commerce and Syntens. These companies are noted on the added value of this service in the WTC Twente.
