Freerk Faber

Freerk Faber is the director of the WTC Twente since 1 April 2009. Faber was Head of the Division “Ruimte, Economie en Wonen” at the Municipality of Hengelo. His experience was gained at longtime economic change projects at the Municipalities of Hengelo, Middelburg and Coevorden. Freerk was closely involved in the conceptual and starting up phase of the WTC Twente. And he is staying on to further develop the WTC Twente.

Ellen Niemeijer

Ellen Niemeijer is office manager of the World Trade Center Twente since the month of May 2010. Shortly after het MEAO education, studying commercial economics, she skilled herself for more than 10 years in the concrete industry. First as a sales representative and after that as a sales manager for the western part of the Netherlands. Afterwards she participated and supported in changing processes for several companies. Before she started at the World Trade Center Twente she worked as an office manager at a management consultancy organization. Ellens challenge is the front office, where she supports en contributes to the execution and development of the World Trade Center Twente.

Marie-José Nassette

Since November 2010 Marie-José Nassette is office manager at the World Trade Center Twente. Marie-José skilled herself broadly within the Royal Friesland Campina enterprise, having office jobs within the field of secretarial, marketing and sales support for many years. She also has experience in copywriting in terms of journalism as well as for commercial purposes. Marie-José studied MEAO commercial economics and NGPR-A public relations. Furthermore she studied cultural anthropology for some semesters and she has a passion for travelling, which indicates that her interest is international. Together with Ellen Niemeijer she enforces her knowledge and experience for the development of the World Trade Center Twente.

Karin de Ruiter

After having worked in an advertising agency for 20 years, Karin de Ruiter came to work at the WTC Twente in December 2010. As an office worker she mainly supports the two office managers. During her time at Total Sign Reclameprojecten she developed many different skills. Her tasks were among others to coordinate the ordering process and the administrative handling of different orders. Furthermore, the was responsible for the application for advertising permissions and permissions under building law and controlled as well the planning as the production process. By now she perfectly settled in the company and will be pleased to answer all your questions.

Martin Blenke

Martin Blenke is currently studying Management, Economy and Law at the Saxion University of Applied Science Enschede and is temporarily working together with his fellow student Philip on a strategic business plan for the expat desk of the World Trade Centre Twente. During his studies he worked six months in a German/Dutch business Consulting Company in Germany as an intern. Subsequently he finished successfully the minor course 'Export Management'. After graduation Martin would like to follow additionally a master program.

Philip Wieskus

Philip Wieskus will work together with his fellow student Martin Blenke on his bachelor thesis on behalf of the World Trade Center Twente. During his studies Management, Economy and Law at the Saxion University of Applied Science Enschede, Philip completed an internship at the company 'Van PuijenbroekTextiel' in Tilburg. Furthermore he participated in the training course 'Good and bad economic choices' at the University of Applied Science, Osnabrück/Germany. After a successful graduation of the bachelor degree Philip would like to absolve a master program within the Netherlands.
